About Us

ACA Symphony Orchestra

Description:

The Anderson Conducting Academy Symphony Orchestra is an ensemble led by conductor and music director Dean Anderson that was created to provide critical hands-on experience to aspiring conductors, soloists and composers. This ensemble program is highly-beneficial to young musicians who are in need of making audition videos with a full orchestra as well as to current professional musicians who are seeking to gain more experience in the areas of conducting, solo concertos, and composition premieres.

How it works:

The orchestra will present 4 concerts per season. Each concert will feature up to 2 conductors, 3 soloists, and 1 composer. In order for a participant to be featured, they will be required to perform in at least 3 of the 4 concerts throughout the season. All featured participants are required to perform on an appropriate orchestral instrument.
